Unwind in the Game Room, with a cozy fire place, a full size shuffle board that converts into a bar, an 80s style arcade console, comfortable reading areas, board games, and a yoga swing that kids and grown ups are sure to delight in.

Epic views: No matter where you are in the front of the home, you'll experience extraordinary lake views. With 80 feet of windows from the Game Room to the Great Hall. You will no doubt witness bald eagles flying from tree to tree and possibly diving for a fish, deer grazing in the lawn, our resident blue heron, "Gary" chilling out on the dock and many other birds and floppy eared rabbits flitting about.

The Great Hall is a huge space, with a combination of a large dining room, open style kitchen and also living room. Pamper yourself with a steaming cup of coffee with a full view of the misty lake in the mornings. The kitchen is fully outfitted for all of your vacationing needs. We provide a Keurig with complimentary pods and tea, olive oil and a spice rack. Sit back with the 65" Smart TV, in the large comfortable leather couch for an afternoon show. Starlink affords blazing fast internet. Whether you are bird watching, paddling in the lake, streaming movies, or working remotely, this place is for you!

There are two bathrooms, one with a large shower and the other with a piping hot jet tub.

Put your feet up with a plethora of outdoor seating options; patio furniture, two hammocks, a sturdy picnic table and 8 chairs around the solar lit fire pit. Also on the patio, indulge in the 4 person cedar sauna and after dare the cold plunge tub, both of these face the lake.

REVIEWS

This is the place you are looking for!!! From the well-stocked kitchen, extremely comfy beds, game room full of fun and easy access to Lake Josephine, this rental has it all and somehow exceeded all the positive reviews we read. The perfect spot to unplug, catch a sunset, and take a cold plunge after a stint in the sauna. Our family loved our time on the island and can’t wait to make it back to the Blue Canoe next summer.

This was the most incredible place we’ve stayed & we travel frequently! The island experience with the lake was amazing but this cabin & the love the owner showed for this cabin exceeded our expectations! Our kids adored all of the activities, it was amazingly stocked, incredibly clean, the vintage memorabilia was one of our favorite things to see & show our kids! You can feel the happiness & love in this cabin!

A bunch of Washingtonians, our first trip to Anderson Island, and what a pleasant surprise! Ferry ride was efficient and a nice 30 minute downtime. Property was exactly as described except actually felt bigger. Plenty of room to gather and also enough space for privacy if desired. Due to weather we were unable to play outside, use the many options of watercraft or enjoy the lovely fire pit.

Something that pictures couldn’t really show were all the windows in the great room which looked directly on Lake Josephine. There’s always something to see in/on the water including a blue heron who hangs on the dock and whom we named Gary. This property was everything we hoped for, would definitely recommend and would enjoy returning! Thank you for a great week!

We loved staying here. The views of the lake from the house were fantastic. The kids had a blast in the game room, and enjoyed playing in the playground right next to the house. We were two families (4 adults and 4 kids) and were comfortable here. 5 stars!

-Neha

Great place to relax while enjoying beautiful lake landscapes. The spa, cold plunge, fire pit and paddle boat was just what was needed for a retreat from the city. The place was spotless and well organized. Wish I could hire whoever takes care of the house. You will love the blue canoe!!!!

-Kara

Incredible hosts! Highly recommend staying at the blue canoe, it was so peaceful and we can't wait to come back over the summer months. Thank you for being such responsive and welcoming hosts.

-Christine

We had the most incredible stay at Laura’s beautiful lake house! The location is absolutely stunning, right in front of the water with breathtaking views throughout the day. Laura was an amazing host: quick to respond, super helpful, and she clearly put so much thought into every detail of the home.

Our family of five stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. There was so much to do from relaxing in the sauna, to taking out the paddle boat and paddle boards, to enjoying the many games and activities available at the house. We also loved how close it was to an awesome lake facing restaurant !

Every thoughtful touch Laura, Tom and team added made the place feel warm, welcoming, and special. We made wonderful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!
